Why I created this forum...

Well, gang. This year I opted out of Promax to spend a week at the beach with my family. The one thing I missed is meeting up with old friends & cohorts, seeing the work others are doing out there in the biz, and getting new ideas. I know when I worked for lower budgeted operations, there was no option of Promax for anyone. I think the same may be true of the long format producers out there and NATPE or other conferences. Gotcha...well the short story is that I have done a lot of v/o's for HGTV with Mike Pollack, and when he changed positions, he gave me your email to give to Craig Anderson (which I did). I told Mike that I want to be a sponsored vingette POWERhouse, creating very hip little sponsored mini-shows for HGTV. This link will give you a general feel for what we were thinking. It is :60, and still not as hip as we wanted...after viewing it, if you need to see more let me know. And I apoligze in advance if this is not the proper setting to be introducing you to this sort of thing. I will post more video on my profile too.. :) Also we are working on getting a sponsor in place if necessary. On a side note - have you talked with Craig Anderson from Concentric Entertainment yet? I know he was going to reach out to you about producing like a zillion :30 sponsored renovation vingettes that I am hosting/filming here at my house. Just thought I would see if you guys connected. Thanks!

yea, Battlestar USED to rock. I'm really frustrated with the show. I am sure that they have some sort plan to make the last episode or so really cool, but it feels like they are just marking time until they finish everything off. Feels...i don't know disrespectful to the audience somehow. Like "hey! We've followed you all the way across the frakin' galaxy! Shit or get off the pot already!"
